What can you realistically achieve in a corporate setting? Why is it worthwhile? What are the things to look out for? What are some things I can do tomorrow?
In a corporate setting, you are effectively embedded in a strong traditional top-down culture. In that context, time has shown that trying to go “the whole way”, towards total transparency, wholeness, self-management and self-organisation, will probably end up being undercut by your boss whenever things go a bit wrong and there are political reasons to shut you down. So what can you do safely within that context, where safety is both your own career safety and your team’s career progression if you do end up leaving?
